About Us

Our current sales staff has over 100 years of combined sales experience in the window, door and millwork industry including extensive industry-wide, vendor, green building and code-related training. If you would like to contact one of our staff please click here. Here are our staff bios:

Kam Neely, President/Owner

Kam graduated from Spartanburg High School, Furman University (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he is an Eagle Scout. He is the fourth generation in his family to enter the building supply business and began his career almost twenty years ago driving trucks, working as a warehouse employee, servicing customer jobsites and learning by osmosis. Kam is passionate about his company's focus on knowledge-based customer service and makes it his goal to train his staff as window, door and millwork professionals not salesmen. He relishes most in providing answers to his customers' most challenging millwork demands; and where other vendors claim it can't be done, he strives to find a way to make it happen. Kam is a member of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Spartanburg where he has served on the Session, as Chair of the Diaconate, Sunday School Teacher, member of the Sustainability Committee, Long-Range Planning Committee, Recreation Committee, Mission Committee, Cub Scout Leader and Chair of Life Events. A graduate of Junior Achievement, Boys State, SC Governor's School of the Arts and Leadership Spartanburg, Kam has also served on the Boards of Mobile Meals, Hub Culture, Hub City Writer's Project, Spartanburg Young Professionals and the Palmetto Council Spartan District. Kam has completed numerous factory training seminars at Marvin Windows and Doors' headquarters in Warroad, MN and has completed additional training in Earthcraft and LEED building systems and EPA lead containment. Kam is fluent in German and enjoys tennis, literature and spending time with his wife and three sons.

Jim Cunningham, Hardware Manager/Sales and Support

A handyman, mechanic and tinkerer at heart, Jim started his foray into the building supply industry over thirty years ago when he took a job as a textile mechanic / machinist. After a move to lumberyard sales Jim quickly worked his way through the ranks first as a delivery and warehouse employee, to counter and inside sales and finally as hardware manager and millwork salesman. When not on site with his customers Jim can be found working on the hydraulics of the company dump truck, servicing fork lifts, making repairs to the facilities and coordinating jobsite deliveries. Jim graduated from Erskine Theological Seminary where he completed a Masters of Divinity degree and also serves as Pastor to Lower Fairforest Bapitst Church near Union. Jim has completed factory training at Marvin Windows and Doors' headquarters in Warroad, MN. He is a devoted husband, father of two, grandfather and frustrated golfer.

Edward Hedden, Project Manager

A member of the Neely family (great-grandson of Kreswell Edward Neely who started the first family lumber business in 1923), Edward has significant experience in production management, quality control, materials purchasing and customer service. A graduate of Spartanburg High School and Erskine College (Bachelor of Science in Business Management) Edward assists in estimating, project management and sales, primarily in the Greenville market where he currently resides with his wife and young daughter. Bob subscribes to the sales mantra "whatever it takes" when it comes to his customers and can be seen-after forty plus years on the job-unloading trucks, making short order deliveries and even climbing on roofs (don't tell his wife). Bob is a licensed realtor and holds degrees from Carson-Newman College, and Erskine Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters Degree in Divinity Studies. Bob has completed factory training at Marvin Windows and Door's headquarters in Warroad, MN.
